Environment

We have affiliated our church environment with A Rocha

A Rocha UK is a Christian charity working for the protection and restoration of the natural world.  We want to aim to protect our living environment for the enjoyment of everyone.  As part of this, we are also looking at ways of making our church building more eco-friendly for the future.

 An Eco-Friendly Church

We have signed up to renewable energy suppliers for our electricity and gas.

We are thinking about ways in which ‘God’s Green Acre’ can be a blessing to all who visit St. Wulfran’s and we want to support the ecology that exists in the landscape here.

Hello from the Churchyard Working Party!

The Churchyard working party and the gardeners keep the grounds of the church beautifully tended.

If you would like to join in with the churchyard working party, they meet once a month on Saturday mornings from about 10 a.m. to 12 noon and we have a tea break with biscuits or cake at half time.  Meet at the church entrance or just join in anywhere with doing some gardening.  Come and join in with tidying, pruning, weeding and tending the beautiful surroundings around the church and make some new friends at the same time.  If you have got some of your own garden tools, then bring them along, otherwise, there is always plenty to share around, if you do not have your own tools.
