For Lent 2020, St Wulfran’s will be taking up the Church of England’s 40 day Lent Challenge – Live Lent Care for God’s Creation. This comprises daily bible readings and reflections and actions. Although these can be followed individually, St Wulfran’s will also be holding a few sessions to explore together how the challenge is working in helping us to live in greater harmony with God, neighbour and nature. The next meeting will be on Thursday 19 March from 6.30pm to 7.30pm at 60 Ainsworth Avenue, Ovingdean.
Monthly Morning Bible Study
We meet monthly on the second Monday morning of each month. Currently, we arelooking at each of the twelve disciples reflecting on Bible accounts of their actions and response to Christ.
Anyone isvery welcome to join us for a time of study, reflection, discussion and listening. We meet at 10am, in one of our homes, for about an hour and then continue with coffee and biscuits. The venue is advertised, each month, in the Ovingdean News and is also on the weekly Church pew sheet.
Each study stands alone so it doesn’t matter if you haven’t been before or are only able to join us occasionally.
