Award for St Wulfran’s Churchyard

Great News! St Wulfran’s churchyard received a Silver Gilt medal in the South and South East in Bloom competition. This is the first time we have entered this competition which has been in existence since the 1980s, and to achieve a Silver Gilt at our first attempt is better even that we had allowed ourselves to hope. We would like to express our gratitude to the faithful band of Churchyard Working Party stalwarts who have helped us to achieve this result. We will be studying the detailed report to see how we can improve further over the coming year. Who knows? Next year a Gold?

Congratulations to Teresa and Derrick Stirling and the Churchyard team of volunteers.!
