ALL AGE WORSHIP

Wulf’s Den at St Wulfran’s

The Wulf’s Den hut (in the copse at the top of St Wulfran’s Churchyard) was blessed by Fr Richard with a group of children after the All Age Service on Sunday 3 September. It provides a great space for outdoor children’s activities and will also give us the opportunity for open air worship and learning.

ALL AGE WORSHIP

Join us for our monthly All Age Worship – a Communion Service with a simpler format more     accessible for children, with opportunities for them to take part in music, prayers and readings and learn about the Christian faith..

Sunday School Group for younger children with a parent or carer with Bible stories explored through a mix of words, music, play and simple craft. We meet in the Church Room ( Ovingdean Nursery) during the 10am service, usually twice a month during term time, finishing in time to walk to church and join in the Communion part of the service.

Autumn Term Dates:   12 &19 November; 10 & 17 December

LOOKING BACK

Pentecost Picnic Praise June 2021

Pentecost is the time when the Holy Spirit descended on the Apostles (50 days after Easter). The Apostles were filled with the gift of the Holy Spirit and they began to speak in other languages. They spread the word and teachings of Jesus. The Dove and the flames are two of the symbols of the Holy Spirit.

Pentecost Mural display in the back of the church.

The Dove mosaic and Fire hand-prints were art activities by children at the Pentecost Picnic Praise. Some hand prints were also contributed by children from Ovingdean Nursery School.
