B. 2. Jesus Takes up His Cross

John 19: 17

and carrying the cross by himself, he went out to what is called The Place of the Skull, which in Hebrew is called Golgotha.

I sometimes feel like I'm not appreciated. Sometimes I feel as if I accept more responsibility that I need to. I can feel sorry for myself, even though the crosses others carry are much larger than my own. In my self-pity, I don't reach out to help.

My Jesus, who took onto yourself the most heavy cross I made by my sins, give me the strength to carry the heavy weight and and help others with their burdens without complaint.

We adore you O Christ and we bless you

Because by your Holy Cross you have redeemed the world
