We welcome all, young and old

One of the major opportunities we have for this, is the time following the Sung Eucharist on a Sunday. It is a time to 'catch up' with people that we may not have seen for a while, and to welcome any new members of the congregation.

We include children's activities as part of normal worship at St Wulfrans. The First Sunday Eucharist has a more informal approach, (and we have books and toys at the front of the church for young children who find being in a church service rather long!)  Our Sunday School, 'Little Fishes' meets in the Church Room,10.00 - 10.45.am, joining the rest of the congregation for a blessing at the altar rail, during the administration of Holy Communion. Further details may be found on the Children and Youth page, along with various photographs from previous events, such as the Easter egg hunt and the Vicarage tea party - which of course is designed for young and older alike.

For the older generation, especially those who are living alone, we have Ovingdean Friends Lunch Club, or Ladies Lunch Club - We also have various Bible study groups, which is an opportunity not only to discuss, but to socialise.

Ask Rea Hollis or Rose Daley (01273 308488) for more information.

Look at our 'Future Events' Page as well for more details.

We have a safeguarding policy in place for both children and for vulnerable adults.  For more information see 'Promoting a Safe Church'.
