Holy Week 9 to 16 April 2017

Holy Week

Sunday 9th to Sunday 16th April

The most solemn week of the Christian year, Holy Week is the week leading up to Easter and is the week during which Christians particularly remember the last week of Jesus's life.  Holy Week begins on Palm Sunday.

Palm Sunday Eucharist Service, 9th April at 9:45 a.m.

The Eucharist begins outside with a Palm Sunday procession, with a donkey, that we all follow, walking around the Green, below the church, and then the donkey goes on its way along the road while we go into church for the Eucharist service which starts at 10 a.m.  Palm crosses will be given out at the service.
